HANA-AMI & Gabriele Kubo were planning a tour this summer to Sweden. We visited Castle Gunnebo and its gardens, we visited Wij Gardens in Ockelbo, where the Crown Princess Victoria did marry in June, we had a grass art lesson in the forests around Gothenburg, experienced Sphagnum moss forests with their amazing beauty and their pure waters and air, slept in tree houses and moss eremitages, bound garlands and visited an Scandinavian interior trade fair.

Regular members came from Japan with a Japanese tour guide, but this tour was also open to international guests who travelled up to Sweden by themselves. We were a group of 20 and were travelling the most convenient way with a tour conductor, me as a guide and a bus driver at our service day and night. Our tour got organised by a main Japanese travel agency, Kinki Nippon Tourists, which provided utmost service and safety.
It was wonderful to walk over Sphagnum moss carpets, diving into clearest lakes, strolling through medieval gardens, contemplating life while sitting at an open fire, experience the silence of a night in the forest without electricity, study new garden designs and try out traditional artistique floristry, feel the breeze at the ocean side and get a glimpse of Scandinavian design!

This tour will be repeated in a similar way next summer, I would be glad to see you in Sweden 2011!!
